Abstract

419,329. Road vehicles. BRIGGS BODIES, Ltd., Dagenham, Essex, and McINTOSH, J. E., 45, Forest Court Flats, Snaresbrook, London. Sept. 30, 1933, No. 26960. [Class 108 (i).] Passenger vehicles of the kind provided with detachable seats positioned in recesses in the floor which also has foot wells are convertible into commercial vans by removing the seats and covering the recesses and wells 8 by a collapsable floor part normally hidden by the rear seats, a rear door being provided. The collapsable floor comprises hinged parts 4, 5, 7 the part 7 serving as a riser as shown supporting the collapsable floor on the side sills. The parts 4, 5, 7 are, when out of use, hidden behind the rear seat squab. A rear door 1 is provided.
