[Class 40 (v).] In a transmitter for direction finding which transmits television signals or the like, such as described in Specification 400,279, two rotating mutually perpendicular frame aerials are provided with means for energizing one of them with television and synchronizing signals and the other with synchronizing signals only, so that the latter are radiated omnidirectionally while the television signals are radiated in a rotating beam.
