416,833. Vehicle wheels. BUGATTI, E., Molsheim, Bas-Rhin, France. March 27, 1934, No. 9555. Convention date, March 29, 1933. [Class 144 (i).] In a wheel for railway or other vehicles having an elastic cushion 10, of the kind described in Specification 403,553, fitted between the tyre 1 and the rim 2, elastic washers 11, 12 are fitted between the tyre and the rim-flanges 3, 5, the tyre being formed, at one or both sides, with recesses 13 to receive pins &c. 14 on the rim, the pins being firmly embedded in elastic cushions 15 Apertures 16, 17 are provided in the rimflanges to receive pins or screws, such as 21, Fig. 5, for balancing the wheel and centring the tyre.
