Abstract

416,548. Endless-track vehicles. RENAULT, L., 8, Avenue Emile Zola, Billancourt, Seine, France. Jan. 15, 1934, No. 1492. Convention date, March 1, 1933. [Class 79 (i).] The load-supporting rollers 3-6 of an endless-track vehicle are mounted at the ends of levers pivoted on the chassis, the other ends of the levers being connected to rods whereby the levers compress rubber blocks 9, 14. The inner rollers 4, 5 are mounted on levers 7, 8 pivoted at 71, 81 and connected at 7<2>, 8<2> to telescopic rods 10, 22. Rubber blocks 9 and metal discs 21 are slidable on the rods and are compressed between adjustable nuts 18 screwed on the rods, the rubber blocks forming resilient supports for the rollers. The end rollers 3, 6 are mounted on levers 11 pivoted at 12 and connected by links 13 to rods 15 sliding in guides 16, 17. Rubber blocks 14 are compressed between the guides 17 and adjustable nuts 19 screwed on the rods 15.
