412,917. Powder sprinkling cans. WILSON, O., 208, West St. Clair Street, Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. Dec. 3, 1932, No. 34308. [Class 18.] A removable cap for a powder-sprinkling can having a neck portion 12 with a curved perforated top 14 comprises a curved portion 21 to fit against and close the perforations in the top 14 and a flange which frictionally engages the neck 12 and extends above the place where the projected arc of the top 14 would intersect the flange. The latter comprises a fluted portion 19, an annular depression 18 into which the fingers fit when removing the cap, and a skirt 17 fitting over a flange at the base of the neck. A disc of material such as felt may be placed in the cap to ensure sealing of the perforations.
