412,220. Hinges ; tables. GARRETT, F. G., 3, Shrubbery Road, Southall, Middlesex. Dec. 21, 1932, No. 36243. [Class 65 (ii).] A leg C of a folding table is pivoted to a U-shaped bracket A fixed on the table frame, and carries a spring- pressed pivoted pawl B notched for engagement with a nose a<5> formed on one flange of the bracket A to hold the leg in the position of use ; the pawl rides on a curved upper edge of the bracket flange when the leg is being folded. In a modification, the bracket flange may be notched to receive the pawl, which may have a turned-in nose for the purpose. A blade spring may be used.
