[Class 65 (ii).] Relative vertical movement between the hinge elements of a folding door or the like on an inclined track is provided by rising hinges F, G and relatively sliding hinge elements H connecting the leaves to pillars E<1>, E<2>. Helical springs acting between the hinge sockets or blade springs J<1> are provided to counterbalance one leaf of each pair. In a modification, the supporting rods R, R<1> constitute the hinge pins, and vertical adjustment of the hinges is provided by nuts K<1>, L<1> beneath the lowest hinge members.
