409,831. Applying caps &c. to jars &c. VACSEAL CONTAINERS, Ltd., Westminster House, Great George Street, and CRONSHAW, H. B., 50, Peel Street, Kensington, both in London. Dec. 24, 1932, No. 36576. [Class 125 (iii).] The method of application of a cap &c. to a glass &c. container, in which a lubricated packing ring of rubber &c. is applied to the container, a cap being then applied to the lubricated surface, the container being then vacuumized and the cap locked thereon by a peripheral displacement to bring interengaging parts on the cap and container into co-operation, is characterized in that the packing surface is lubricated by wetting.
