409,637. Washing- machines. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP MACHINE FABRIEK REINEVELD, 126, Haagweg, Delft, Holland. Jan. 1, 1934, No. 73. Convention date, Dec. 31, 1932. [Class 138 (ii).] In a washing-machine wherein the rotary clothes receptacle is divided into compartments by longitudinal and transverse partitions, each compartment being provided with a hinged or sliding door, a flap 10 is hinged along the lower edges of the door openings, the flap being common to all of the axially aligned compartments. When the flap is not in use for bridging the gap between the rotary receptacle and its casing it is swung up to overlie the closed doors of the receptacle and is looked directly to the receptacle. The doors can, therefore, only be opened after the flap has been lowered.
