Abstract
405,058. Powder distributers. BURROWS, A., Studd Green Works, Elworth, Sandbach, Cheshire. Aug. 29, 1932, No. 24123. [Class 18.] A device for pouring pulverulent or granular material from containers comprises the combination with a container a having the end b through which the contents are to be discharged sunk within the container of a funnel shaped pouring spout f detachably carried wholly within the sunk end of the container when not in use and held in an aperture pierced in the end when in use. A cardboard disc c with an aperture d is fitted above the end b and has a strip e struck up from it to carry the spout f. The diaphragm b is suitably weakened to facilitate piercing by the spout f and the disc c may be rotatable so that the pouring aperture may be closed after use In a modification, the disc c may be dispensed with and the spout is threaded on a wire which is sprung into the sunk end of the container.
