Abstract

403,528. Brassieres. CAMP & CO., S. H., Jackson, Michigan, U.S.A. Jan. 2, 1933, No. 45. Convention date, Jan. 18, 1932. [Class 141.] A sling-like breast support in which two independent means of adjustment are provided for supporting the breasts, comprises breast supporting shelves 15, 16, which are connected along the edge 9 of lower breast covering portions 10, 11, to diagonal supporting straps 17, 18, detachably and adjustably connected to shoulder strap portions 19, 20, the primary adjustment being obtained by draw string adjusting means 32 at the back of the garment, and the secondary adjustment by buttoning the straps 17, 18, to their respective shoulder strap portions 19, 20. In a modification, the supporting straps are formed integrally with the lower breast covering portions. U.S.A. Specification 1,506,248 is referred to.
