401,453. Golf tees. HEWSON, C., 11, Laird Street, Birkenhead. Aug. 12, 1932, No. 22562. [Class 132 (ii).] A golf tee comprises a spike b for insertion into the ground, a spiral spring d fitting over the reduced upper end of the spike and extending upwardly therefrom, and a resilient ball-supporting cup e formed integral with a sleeve a fitting over the spring and held in position by a metal band c. The metal parts of the tee may be formed of stainless steel.
