Abstract

400,149. Mixing &c. machines. AESCHBACH AKT.-GES., F., 20, Industriestrasse, Aarau, Switzerland. July 13, 1933, No. 19837. Convention date, Aug. 2, 1932. [Class 86.] In a kneading, mixing, &c. machine a pair of mixing blades are simultaneously rotated in a planetary manner about converging axes. The head 18 is rotated by means of a vertical shaft 8 driven from a lay shaft 2 by means of gears 7, 9. The mixing shaft 20 is rotated about its own axis by the rolling engagement of a pinion 22 thereon with a fixed pinion 23. The mixing shaft 21 is rotated by means of a pinion 24 in mesh with a pinion 14 on a sleeve 15 driven by gears 16, 3 from the lay shaft. The rotation of the mixing shafts about their own axes is in opposite senses, and, in the form shown, at the same speed.
