397,829. Pneumatic tyres. MICHELIN ET CIE, Clermont Ferrand, Puy-de-Dome,' France. Nov. 25, 1931, No. 32705. Convention date, Jan. 14. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 144 (ii).] A pneumatic tyre for rail vehicles is provided with an internal annular member which is sufficiently rigid to support the vehicle when the tyre is not fully inflated. As shown in the Figure, the member 1 is encased in rubber 2 and communicates through apertures 3 with the interior of the air-tube 8. The latter may be inflated by a valve 9 in a housing 5 through a channel 4 and the openings 3. In a modification, the member 1 is of arch-section. The air-tube may be attached to the annular member; or attached to, or formed integral with, the rubber casing 2.
