Abstract

397,156. Coal-boxes. BAXTER, A. E., Birch Hey, Little Neston, Wirral, Cheshire. Dec. 14, 1931, No. 7725. [Class 52 (i).] A coal-box is formed with an inwardly curved front wall a<1> smoothly continuous with a grid B at the rear of the casing. The lower part is accessible through a hinged door E which may be held closed by the coal shovel F while the upper door C can preferably be held in the open position by pin and slot hinges c<1>, c<2>, or by means of stays. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 348,714.
