[Class 122 (i).] A portion of the circumference of a piston head corresponds in shape to that of the cylinder while the remaining portion is formed with a clearance proportional to the expansion of the head. This clearance may be formed by making the said portion of the head eccentrically conical or cylindrical concentrically conical, or stepped concentrically cylindrical with respect to the piston axis.
