Abstract

390,265. Mops. PREECE, H. A., 91, High Street, Thame, Oxfordshire. Dec. 18, 1931, No. 35022. [Class 19.] A wringing attachment for a mop 2 comprises a conical member 3, the smaller end of which is slidable on the handle 1 and the larger end is connected to the handle by a flexible conical bag 6. When the mop is to be wrung, the bag 6 together with the mop is drawn within the member 3 and twisted. Means may be provided for retaining the mop in the position shown in Fig. 1, with respect to the wringing attachment. The bag 6 may be formed of fabric, asbestos, metal chain mail, or a series of closelyspaced flexible cords, wires, or chains.
