Abstract

387,965. Batteries; couplings. J€GER, G., 25, Engelsbacherstrasse, Friedrichroda, Thuringia, Germany. Sept. 29, 1932, No. 27094. [Classes 38 (i) and 53.] The terminal strips of torch batteries are connected together to form a high-tension battery by means of a connector consisting of a metal strip bent backwards on itself to form a clamp and provided with means for receiving a wander plug. Figs. 5, 6, and 7 show various forms of connectors having loops k, m and apertures n for receiving wander plugs. The strips may be bent and provided with loops in various ways and they may form the terminal strips of the batteries as shown in Figs. 2 and 3. Fig. 10 shows two batteries, the strip terminals y, z of which are connected together by a clamp l of the form shown in Fig. 6.
