Abstract
381,082. Internally-fired hot-water boilers. TÍREKY, A., 31, Atilla Utca, Budapest. March 7, 1932, No. 6869. [Class 64 (i).] In a hot-water boiler comprising a water space 10 supplying water for domestic use, and spaces 11, 14 supplying water for room heating, the spaces 11, 14 are connected by pipes 15 and by the water supply pipe 22 which enters space 14 and has a branch 33 to space 11. The pipe 22 also acts as the expansion pipe conveying heated water to the compartment 19 of a cistern from which the water passes through connection 34 to the room heating system. The space 10 is supplied with cold water by pipe 20 from the compartment 18 of the cistern which is provided with a float-controlled water inlet 21. Space 19 is supplied with water from space 18 through a float-controlled connection 25, the level in space 19 being maintained below that in space 18 to prevent water flowing back into space 18. To aid circulation between spaces 11 and 14, a pipe 36 is led across the fireplace from space 14 and ends in an injector nozzle 37 in pipe 22. Space 11 instead of surrounding space 10 may consist of tubular systems contained in space 10.
