[Class 100 (ii).] The Figure shows the combination of drying apparatus, comprising alternate blowing and sucking nozzles arranged transversely over the web to be dried, with a rotary printing machine. The drying chambers 73, 74 through which the web passes from the first printing roller 72 to the second printing roller 75 have convex backs to keep the web smooth. If the web is to be printed once only, the drying chambers, which are hinged together at 76, are arranged as at 73<1>, 741.
