Abstract
379,577. Wheel tyres. HARTER, L., 15B, Windm³hlenstrasse, Dresden, Germany. Dec. 3, 1931, No. 33535. Convention date, Dec. 4, 1930. [Class 144 (ii).] An arch-section tyre comprises an outer portion 1, Fig. 2, the side-walls of which taper towards the tread, and an inner portion 2 of greater elasticity than the part 1, the contacting surfaces being substantially parallel to the tread and sides of the tyre. The core 2 may have a lining 4 of relatively small elasticity. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which the parts 6 of greater elasticity are embedded in the side walls of the outer portion of the tyre.
