Abstract
378,775. Pipe joints. RUSH, A. R., 107, Lutterworth Road, and RUSH, S. R. G., 1, Chestnut Road, both in Northampton. Jan. 21, 1932, No. 1901. [Class 99 (i).] A joint for lead pipes comprises a union C against the coned ends of which the expanded ends of the pipe are compressed by sleeves A and nuts B. To support the pipes the sleeves A are relatively long. One end of the union may internally or externally be screw threaded for connection to a hard metal pipe and the union may be formed for connecting more than two pipes. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 9828/02, 8288/06, [both in Class 99, Pipes &c.], and 102,847, [Class 99 (i), Pipes and tubes, Joints &c. for].
