[Class 52 (iii).] A convertible fire-screen and table has a table top portion 2 wider than the space between the two uprights or standards 4 to which it is pivoted. The pivoting is effected by means of semicircular blocks 1 attached to the undersurface of the part 2, and fitted with quadrantal plates 6 with holes 7 into which, and through a corresponding aperture in each leg, spring pins 8 are pressed to enable the part 2 to be held vertically for use as a fire-screen, or horizontally for use as a table.
