Abstract
Rubber, leather, fabric, &c. surfaces are united by the use of rubber latex containing at least 45 per cent of rubber, and possessing a viscosity of less than 91,1 DEG Redwood. This latex may be obtained by centrifuging crude latex. Vulcanizing agents and accelerators may be added to the latex, preferably to different portions which may be applied separately to the surfaces to be united, or may be mixed immediately before use. Latex containing vulcanizing agent may be applied, and subsequently moistened with an organic solvent containing dissolved accelerator.
