Abstract

373,370. Trestles. SIMS & SONS, Ltd., S. and SIMS, R. S. C., Britannia Works, New Whittington, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. April'28, 1931, No. 12471. [Class 52 (v).] The cross-bar c and upper parts b<2> of the end supports of a trestle are formed from a single metal strip. In the construction shown the parts b<2> are riveted, welded to the lower portions b<1> of the end supports, which are of triangular formation. The whole trestle may be constructed by bending a single metal strip. Sheet metal members f, to receive a wringer, may be attached to the cross-bar.
