[Class 135.] A beer &c. engine discharge nozzle a has its lower end closed, as shown, and formed as a conical -valve head a<3> with lateral discharge ports a<4>, and is fitted with a telescopic sliding sleeve valve d<3>. The sleeve is provided with rubber covered transverse pegs f<2> against which the rim of the glass or other receiving vessel g is pushed to open the valve. A self-closing spring e is centred in a socket e<2> and abuts upon cross pegs e<3>. The liquid issues through a coned outlet nozzle d<2>. A rubber sleeve c and clip c<2> serve to connect the nozzle a to the end of the beer &c. pull b ; or alternatively, the nozzle may be screwed thereto.
