Abstract

365,372. Pressure-regulating valves. BOSCH AKT.-GES. R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Feb. 20, 1931, No. 5334. Convention date, June 25, 1930. [Class 135.] A pressure-regulating valve actuated by a diaphragm a has the chamber b above the diaphragm connected by a passage c with a supplementary breather chamber d bounded by a diaphragm ,e subject to atmospheric pressure admitted through an aperture g. The diaphragm e carries a valve h adapted to close the passage c in the event of the main diaphragm leaking. The auxiliary diaphragm may release a previously set spring-closed valve.
