[Class 28 (i).] A corner socket for use in the construction of bakers' trays comprises an outer sheet-metal channelshaped plate a having the inner sides closed by a metal angle-plate b secured by a double lap joint or seam as shown, or by a slot- and - projection or other interlocking or interengagement o f the parts, the joint in any case being disposed externally of the socket so as to leave the internal cross-sectional shape unaffected.
