Abstract

363,447. Colour photography. NORDMANN, C., Observatoire de Paris, Avenue de l'Observatoire, Paris. Oct. 14, 1930, No. 30779. Convention date, Oct. 15, 1929. Addition to 363,387. Drawings to Specification. [Class 98 (ii).] In order to obtain lenticular-screen colour-record images the contact copies of which may be projected without dominant hues, the axes of the elementary beams reaching the lenticular elements during the taking operation are caused to converge to a point at a given distance behind the film by bending the film gate in the taking camera into part-cylindrical form, the axis of the cylinder being parallel to the linear lenticulations of the film, and its radius being smaller than the distance from the film to the image of the colour selecting filter in that part of the objective which lies behind the filter. The developed film is flattened out again before printing the contact copies. Specifications 360,524, 362,490, and 363,409 are referred to.
