224,572. Thornton, J. E. May 18, 1923. Addition to 224,569. Colour photography. - In the production of positive films according to the parent Specification, two partial colour negatives only are employed in producing the component two-colour films, and arc of the screen-filter class, produced simultaneously, and preferably side by side on double-width film material, in a camera of known hind having a single objective and a light-splitting device comprising prisms, mirrors, grids &c. If single-width film material is employed, the component two-colour negative images may be produced on separate strips, or in alternating sequence on a single strip. Registration is effected by a single hole for each picture, separate from the traction holes, which engages an accurately fitting pin in the camera. In doublewidth material the registration hole lies in the centre of the strip between adjacent images, or two holes may be employed, one for each component two-colour image. The film material employed is that described in Specification 224.571. The negatives themselves, or duplicates made therefrom, may be used to print the positive images, or positives produced from them by reproduction or reversal may be used according to the printing-process employed.
