Feb. 20, 1930, No. 5681. Convention date, Feb. 22, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 75 (i).] A burner is provided with an adjustable member at or adjacent the seat of combustion for controlling the primary air supply to the burner. In one form, the burner comprises a nozzle 6, provided with lateral openings 7 and smaller outlets 8 in the outer end, and an outer member 9 secured in a cup 10 screwed on the mixing-tube 5 so as to form an adjustable annular outlet for the gaseous mixture passing through the openings 7. A lock-nut 12 is provided. In a second form, the burner is provided with a conical outlet within which is mounted an adjustable conical core-piece carried by a screw.
