Abstract
351,544. Tables, desks, &c. WILSON, E. L., 16, Maldon Road, Wallington, Surrey. March 27, 1930, Nos. 9786 and 32420. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii).] Desks without legs.-A wall desk, e.g. for supporting a telephone directory, comprises a shelf 26 on an arm 14a pivoted to a bracket 10 and adapted to be retained, in either the full-line or dotted-line position, by a spring detent device 22. A rod 30, passing through apertures in the flanges 28, 29 and secured by a split pin 31 &c., retains the book in place. Table-legs; furniture frames.-A foldable leg for a table or other piece of furniture is formed of sheet metal and tapers from its hinge towards the other end. In a modification, the leg is built up of a channel-section upper part and an intermediate or lower part of other material, e.g. wood.
