349,762. Heating liquids; heatstoring apparatus. HADEN & SONS, Ltd., G. N., St. George's Works, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and JEWSBURY, S. S., 44, Cavendish Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester. May 16, 1930, No. 15145. [Classes 64 (i) and 64 (ii).] Liquid is heated and stored under pressure in a vessel 1, the expansion of the liquid being taken up in a vessel 4 containing air under pressure, while air expelled from the heated liquid escapes through an eliminator 6. A pump 7 controlled by a thermostat or pressure device 11, located on vessel 4 or vessel 1, forces liquid from the supply tank 8 into the system. The air pressure in vessel 4 is regulated by a valve 13, and a pressure relief valve 14 enables heated liquid under excessive pressure to escape through a coil 16 into a tank 8.
