[Class 100 (i).] Web-roll changing devices.-A web-renewing mechanism for a printing-machine is provided with means, operable by the movement of a web roll to effect renewal, for loading or cocking a web severing device so that, when released, the severing device acts with a quick movement to sever the expiring web. The construction described is the same as that described with reference to Figs. 9-14 of Specification 348,648.
