347,368. Teats for feeding-bottles. READER, L., 6, Brodrick Grove, Plumstead, PENGELLY, J. W. H., 13, Lassa Road, and EASTON, H. E., 5, Westmount Road, both in Eltham, both in London. Feb. 24, 1930, No. 6028. [Class 125 (i).] A teat for feeding- bottles comprising a substantially solid nipple a, Fig. 2, having a conduit b, a shield c and a union n, is provided with means for varying the rate of flow of liquid comprising screw-operated wedges f, g, adapted to compress a split ring e. In a modification, the adjustment is effected by a collar and screw, and, in the form shown in Fig. 4, a ring l is adapted to be drawn over a tapered portion d of the teat to constrict the conduit. In another form, an elongated ring or apertured plate having a varying internal diameter may be transversely movable. The union n may be formed as a plug.
