346,814. Supply and delivery arrangements for hot water boilers. KOKOLAKIS, J., 191, Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, Australia. Jan. 13, 1930, No. 1179. [Class 64 (i).] A water heater comprises an outer casing 4, an electrical heater 9 spaced from a tube 8a to provide a water space 8, an extension 10 connecting the space 8 to a vessel 11, and a tube 7 closed at its lower end by a plate 7a to provide an air space around tube 8a, radial passages 15 connecting the jacket 8 with the water space in the outer casing 4. Boiling water is withdrawn through a cock 12 and warm water through a cock 13. The vessel 11 may be provided with a perforated tray helow the level of the boiling water on which medical instruments to be sterilized may be placed and a tank, provided with a ball cock, may also be connected to the vessel to furnish a supply of sterilized water. The superfluous boiling water in vessel 11 returns through apertures 16 to the outer container 4.
