Class 141.] Tensioning straps 1 producing an uplifting action on the abdomen extend downwardly and forwardly from the sides of the garment as shown. The belt may be in two parts 3, 5 joined at 12 by lacing and at 10 provided with fitting straps (not shown). The bottom 15 of the belt is shaped as shown. Each fitting strap passes at 10 from one part of the belt to the other and may be returned therefrom to pockets or keeper loops.
