Abstract

345,182. Roller bearings. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. OF GREAT BRITAIN, Ltd., 259, City Road, London.- (International Harvester Co. ; 606, South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, U.S.A.) July 15, 1930, No. 21395. [Class 12 (i).] In a conical roller bearing the end thrust face 15 of the rollers has line contact with the thrust face 13 of a rib 11 on the inner race 1( so that the rollers are righted if they skew. As shown, the faces 15, 13 make an angle of 90‹ with the normal bearing faces 16, 14 of the rollers and race ring 10 respectively The rollers are held loosely in slots in a spacing cage.
