Abstract

344,944. Stands ; brackets. BATA, T., 12, Zlin, Moravia, Czecho-Slovakia. Dec. 16, 1929, No. 38437. [Class 52 (v).] A display stand consists of an upright 1 with slidable rings 2 having apertured bosses 3 to receive radial arms 4 each provided at its outer end with a shoe &c. support 11 connected to the arm by a ball-and-socket joint or hinge. In the construction shown the heel of a shoe &c. is gripped between a fixed jaw 9 on movable jaw 8 both of which are provided with protective pads. In a modification the movable jaw 8 is adjusted by a screw which passes through the fixed jaw.
