Abstract
344,001. Electromagnetic relays- SHOTTER, G. F., 14, The Ridgeway, Friern Barnet, Middlesex, and BUTHERUS, F. R., 32, Wimbourne Road, Bruce Grove, Tottenham, London. Nov. 2, 1929, No. 33396. [Class 38 (v).] Closure or open ing of contacts 6 in a subsidiary circuit, for example by means of a thermostat, so alters the magnetic conditions of a relay 1, that the relay operates. The contacts 6 may either short-circuit a coil 7 transformercoupled to the coil 1 of the relay, Fig. 1, or they may shunt the coil 1, Fig. 2, a resistance 9 being inserted in the shunt. A suitable inductance 2, resistance 3 or condenser 4 is inserted in series with the relay. Specification 335,536, [Class 38 (v), Electric switches &c.], is referred to.
