341,959. Woodwork joints. WEYMANN'S MOTOR BODIES (1925), Ltd., 22, Austin Friars, London, and BLACK, W. R., Burndell, Couchmore Avenue, Esher, Surrey. Oct. 25, 1929, No. 32433. [Class 20 (i).] Joints or clamps for wood or timber, particularly for use in road vehicle construction, comprise metal plates 10 arranged one at each side of the timbers 11, 12, means such as bolts 13 extending between the plates 10, and resilient means such as spring washers 15 interposed between the plates 10 and the timbers 11, 12. If desired, reinforcing plates 16, which may be cupped to receive the washers, are placed between the washers 15 and the timbers 11, 12. The washers may be of the split or the cup types.
