Windscreen-wipers.-To provide for angular movement of the oscillatory arm of a windscreen wiper to accommodate for variations in the oscillation of the screen, the end of the arm c is clamped in a lateral extension b of a sheet metal cylindrical member a, which surrounds a second cylindrical member g and is held by a pin i in position between the sides of a sheet metal forklike member d embracing and clamped to the spindle e of the driving mechanism. A helical spring h housed in the member g, its ends engaging slots in the two cylindrical members, controls the relative rotational movement of these members and also serves to cause the wiper to exert the appropriate pressure on the screen.
