Casings; frames. - Relates to a driving mechanism for gramophones, of the kind in which a vertical output spindle of the motor mechanism is flexibly coupled to the lower end of the turntable spindle. The frame 7 of the motor mechanism is suspended from a bed-plate 1 by bolts 4 and springs 5, 6. The electric motor shaft 14 is journaled in bearings 15, 16 in the webs 10, 11 of the frame 7.
