339,569. Rigden, L. M. March 7, 1930. Stays. - A folding stay comprises two or more links connected by frictional joints A, B, C, Fig. 3, to one another and to the door-members. At the attachment of a link to a door-member friction discs 6, 7, Fig. 1, are interposed between fixed discs 4, 5 and the end of the link 9. At the joint between two links 9 friction discs 11, 12 are interposed between the ends 10 of the links and between these ends and discs 13. The joint friction can be varied by means of screws 14.
