Couplings.-An extensible lead comprises a conductor 1 formed of a number of thin wires woven, plaited or otherwise treated to form a tubular structure capable of elongation and which is flattened into ribbon form and encased in an elastic or plastic insulating material 2. In a modification the conductor 1 may be of circular section and have an elastic core.
