Catches, spring. - A spring catch comprises a spring operated toothed bar 1, a bracket 3 to which the bar is pivoted at 2 and a fixed member 8 with which the teeth 7 of the bar 1 are adapted to engage. The bar is disengaged by grasping either a stud 9 or an extension of the bar passing through the bracket 3 and the door on which it is mounted.
