322,731. Farrar, F. R., and Ellison, A. D. Aug. 10, 1928. Clip brackets.-A supporting bracket a for a pipe &c. c is formed from a strip of metal, preferably copper, by bending the strip so that the centre part b encircles one-half of the pipe, and thereafter bending the end portions first inwardly to form shoulders d, d<1> to encircle partly the remaining portion of the pipe and then outwardly to form the base portions f, f<1>. The bracket is strengthened by an indent or groove h<1> extending between the points 2, 3 on each side as shown, the middle part 4 being left plain to allow the bracket to be opened out to receive the pipe.
