Abstract

320,945. Lovell, A. W. July 27, 1928. Pedestal stands.- A display stand, adapted to be jammed between two opposed surfaces, consists of two slotted standards 1, 4 adjustably clamped together by bolts 9, a block 12 secured to one standard 1 and carrying means for separating it from the adjacent end of the other standard 4 in order to jam the stand firmly in position. In the construction shown a screw 10 rotatably secured in the end of the standard 4 screws into the block 12. Lengthening pieces for the standards may be provided. The stand has end plates 5, which may be angularly adjustable, and is provided with adjustable shelves &c. to receive the articles to be displayed.
