Abstract

319,865. Pilot, I. H. July 21, 1928. Roller and roller-andbreast mills. - A rotary crushing roller for a coke &c. mill comprises a series of discs 1, Fig. 1, with pointed teeth 2 interspaced with straight-sided teeth 3, the latter being arranged in line across the face of the roller to form an unbroken cutting bar. The side plates 4 of the mill are provided with slots 5 for the insertion and removal of the roller which is mounted in bearings supported on brackets 6 on the side plates. The slots 5 may be closed by plates 7 and the slots may be horizontal, as shown in chain line at 8. Specification 319,864 is referred to.
