Abstract

Anti-dazzle screens.-An adjustable windscreen panel or an anti-dazzle screen or visor d for the protection of vehicle drivers is hinged about its upper edge and provided with a rearwardly extending link i, which projects into the interior of the vehicle and is connected to the lower end of a depending link g adapted to be displaced angularly by a screw device h. In the construction shown the upper edge of the panel or visor d is pivotally supported at its ends in brackets e attached to the vehicle body and at its centre to a further body bracket j, while the link i extends through a hole b<1> in the windscreen b. The adjusting screw h operates in a swivel bearing b<1> carried by brackets f and engages a nut h<2> carried by the lever g. In a modification, in which the panel or visor is supported from the windscreen proper instead of from the vehicle body, the brackets e are attached to the side pillars and the brackets f, j to the top rail of the windscreen.
